To all my dear friends,
After many years of wonderful time spent at the Cooperage, I am moving on to new endeavours. Thank you all who supported me throughout the years, and thank you for your continued enthusiasm and encouragement. Even though the Cooperage is closed, I will still do shows, like Brimfield, and other local antique shows, and soon (I promise!) will be selling online. Keep a look-out for other news of where I will be selling!!!

The Cooperage was a magical and special place, and the setting was so beautiful... I can never re-create that experience, but I hope that in the future, I can offer new, enjoyable, special places and times for us all.

Irish Music Celebration!

We're doing it again!
This Sunday, November 23rd The Cooperage will be hosting some of our favorite local performers! Kate Chadbourne, and friends will be performing music, poetry, and sharing stories. Refreshments will be served! We'll be having this shindig from 1-6, drop in and check it out!

Holiday Open House!

Well folks, it's been a tough autumn, but The Cooperage will go on!
The annual Holiday Open House will be Thanksgiving weekend, as usual.
Fri-Sun 10-5
We will have a great spread: dips, cheeses, mulled cider and goodies!

The Holiday season is in full swing! A little snow has made it feel like winter is really here...

Our open house was a great success, and it was lovely to see everyone.

Our hours until Christmas are: Tuesday thru Saturday 11-5 and Sunday 12-5.

'Tis the Season

Our show season is finally over, and now the holiday season can officially begin! A few events that are coming up:

Saturday Nov. 10th from 1- 3 (or whenever!) we are having a drop in class by Phyllis Poor, a fiber artist. We will be making flower pins using a rug hooking technique. Bring yarn and buttons that inspire you, or use what we have. This should be very inspiring!

Friday thru Sunday November 23rd-25th open 12-6 will be our annual Holiday Open House! Yummy goodies to munch on, hot apple cider, and of course, lots of Christmas twinkle! Hope you can make it in!

Bamboo Fountains are IN!

We just received an order of Bamboo Fountains! These are so relaxing and easy to set up too! Kits include the pump, hose, and fountain, you just need a basin. It's like having a little bit of the peaceful waterfall here at the Cooperage for your own home or office!

Hello!
I am posting some pictures of the shop and Max and Teddy! It's starting to feel like the end of Summer, and we are looking forward to September Brimfield (Sept. 4-9), and the coming season. At the shop we received a new shipment of silk yarn and shawls from Nepal, and some great new soaps and bath products from Mountain Country Soaps in Vermont! Come on in and check it out, we are open Wednesday through Sunday 12-5. Also, we are having a rug hooking day on Sunday September 23rd from 12-4. If you have never tried rug hooking, come and see what it is all about, if you are an expert, come show off your skills! Materials will be available, and it will be fun, you might even get some ideas for gifts to make for Christmas! Hope to see you soon.
